At the end of the day, once the rhythm of the city has slowed down, windows lit up and a domestic life begins.
As passers-by we are offered a glimpse of what is going on indoors. The quality of light emanating from inside suggests to us a scene, an atmosphere that we fill with our own domestic experiences.
The window stands as the threshold between private and public spaces. It communicates inside and outside in a double glance. The frame, the glass, the curtain make us conscious of the voyeuristic act of transgressing the boundary.
